Hāʻao
Hāʻao is the rain name of Hīhīmanu, a famous mountain of Hanalei. This rain is known to be the type of rain that seems like waves or a procession like one that follows an aliʻi. I demonstrated the procession effect in groups of showers slightly offset each other. Hānalei is known for many types of rain but to me Hāʻao is the type that you see misting into Hanalei valley in the evening or on a sunny afternoon when the winds start to change.
